ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE
Morning departure heading to Andasibe (roughly 5 hour drive) also known as Perinet… Upon arrival, visit the forest of VOIMM is divided in 3 areas dedicted to total preservation, ecoturism, and traditional exploitation. The park hosts 11 species of lemurs, camaleons, lizards, howls, and many other animals. It is possible to visit the forest by day and night through 6 km of itineraries.

ANDASIBE – ANTANANARIVO
After breakfast, we will explore the Analamazoatra reserve in search of the biggest lemurs called Indri indri, lemurs like panda, whose eerie calls can be heard miles away from your hotel. Mild walk in the forest would surely grant you a great deal of windows of opportunity to spot not only the indri but also other lemurs such as the golden sifakas, the eastern woolly lemurs, without forgetting endemic birds and reptiles like the Parson chameleon, the tiny nose-horned chameleons, and so forth. After the visit, leave Andasibe and drive to Antananarivo at hotel du Louvre (high-end) or at the hotel Palissandre (high-end) at the hotel Chalet des Roses (high-midrange), or at Rova hotel (high-midrange), in BB.
ANTANANARIVO – DIEGO – AMBER MOUNTAIN
We fly from the capital to Antsiranana, a.k.a Diego Suarez, home of the second largest bay in the world. We directly make our way to the shores. Then directly drive to Amber Mountain. Overnight Settling at Nature Lodge (high-end) or at Domaine de Fontanay (high-end) or at Chez Monastsere (Midrange), in BB.
AMBER MOUNTAIN – DIEGO
We devote this morning visiting the park in search of various fauna and flora species. Located fifty kilometers from the port, the green Amber Mountain Park (a.k.a Montagne d’Ambre) is home to lemurs, sacred waterfalls and lush vegetation. The Montagne d’Ambre is the first national park to be created in Madagascar. We will do a trek in the national park to see the different species of lemurs, the smallest and rarest chameleon in the world, and both sea and land turtles. Afterwards you will continue to Grand Cascade, a beautiful waterfall that pours into a natural swimming pool surrounded. After the visit, we head back to Diego for overnight at Overnight at Grand Hotel (high-end) or at the hotel de la post (high-end) or at the hotel Victoria (high-midrange) or at the hotel Jardin Exotic (high-end) in BB.
DIEGO – ANKARANA
Morning departure by 4wd heading to Ankarana reserve, stop at Tsingy Rouge for half an hour visit , then continue to Ankarana , after lunch visit the park. Overnight at the hotel Iharana Bush Camp (high-end) or at Ankarana lodge (high-end) or at the hotel Relais d’Ankarana (midrange) in BB.

We explore the morning visiting the park until noon time. Note that Ankarana harbors many species of lemurs such as the crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs and different species of birds as well. Besides, it is mostly known for its limestone pinnacles known as the ‘Tsingy’. The local biological inventories reported 50 fauna species with 40 reptiles and 10 amphibians, 96 species of birds, 50 species of mollusks and a huge number of snails. 14 species of bats representing 1/4 of the bats of Madagascar live in the underground cave of Ankarana. Encounter with free lemurs and discovery of the luxuriant vegetation of NosyKomba.
Then continue by boat to Nosytanikely is small island about 20 mn by boat from Ambatoloaka, one of the best place for snorkeling and diving and well-known for a day excursion.
