Antananarivo – Andasibe
Our destination for today is Andasibe, owning a good reputation due to its wealth in biodiversity, a place where tourists are expected to see the biggest lemur known as the Indri. Andasibe is a rainforest area covered of 810 hectares; the national park of Analamazaotra often referred to Périnet, the Indri’s home. Upon arrival, visit the VOI reserve, which is managed by the local community, the reserve is an untouched paradise for endemic animals and plants, where the visitors can easily spend a whole day enjoying nature, some groups of Indris can be watched in their natural habitat, and its white-headed relatives, the diademed sifakas, often jump between the tree tops. Some other lemurs such as woolly lemurs can also be seen.

Andasibe – Manambato – Palmarium
This morning, we depart from Andasibe and head towards Palmarium, passing through Manambato where we board a boat bound for Ankanin’ny Nofy. Our journey takes us across the scenic lakes of Rasoabe and Rasoamasay, navigating the Pangalane Channel, which is lined with lush vegetation typical of Madagascar’s eastern region. Ankanin’ny Nofy is a serene oasis, nestled along a picturesque lakeside adorned with abundant greenery.
At Palmarium, this verdant sanctuary offers more than just relaxation; visitors can explore a small private reserve where lemurs and the elusive Aye-Aye thrive. Situated on a peninsula spanning over 30 hectares on Lake Ampitabe, Palmarium provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Madagascar’s natural wonders.

Palmarium – Foulpointe
In the morning, leave Ankanin’ny Nofy and take a boat to go to Manambato and drive to Foulpointe pass by Toamasina. Foulpointe or Mahavelona in Malagasy name is renowned for its beautiful beach, it offers also various activities in your choice and your charge.

Foulpointe – Mahambo – Sainte-Marie
After breakfast, leave Foulpointe and drive to Mahambo where you will enjoy a fast motor boat transfer going to our destination Sainte Marie Island, a small paradise of beach and a good place to see whales. Overnight at the Hotel Princesse Bora or Soanambo Hotel (top) in HB., and at the Hotel Princesses Bora (top) or at Maningory Hotel, Idylle Hotel (high-midrange) in BB.
Sainte-Marie – Antananarivo
Transfer to the airport and return flight to Antananarivo (Tana). Stay overnight at Louvre Hotel or Palissandre (Top category), Hotel Chalet des Roses (High-Midrange), or Chat’O Park (Midrange), including bed and breakfast.
