Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo (Tana), you will be greeted by our Ortour representative. Tana – Tulear – Ifaty
You will be transferred to the airport, take the domestic flight to Toliara, which is the capital of the Vezo fishing people. Arriving at the airport, drive directly to Ifaty, a small village fishermen located 27 km north of Tulear, Ifaty is a lovely white sandy beach.
Settle in your hotel for the overnight at Paradisier(high-end) hotel or La Mira Hotel (high-end), or choose Bella Donna Hotel or Bamboo Club for a comfortable mid-range hotel, in BB.
Ifaty
2 days at leisure during your whole stay in Ifaty. However, some activities can be arranged by your hotel, on your charge. Ifaty grants you a relaxing place by the beach where you can go diving, snorkeling, take a dugout canoe ride with the Vezo fishermen. Besides, Ifaty spiny forest abounded by extraordinary vegetation of euphorbia, didieracea, and aloes is another important place to see the giant baobabs, the nocturnal southern sportive lemurs, some endemic birds like the sub-desert mesite found nowhere else, the running coua and so on.

Ifaty – Tulear – Isalo
Leave Ifaty to reach our destination of today that is Ranohira located approximately 280 km. Ranohira is the closest village in Isalo National Park. This park is covered of 81 540 hectares of the eroded Jurassic sandstone covered with lichens, eerie look of rock formation, having a typical topography characterized by alternating flat grassy plains, deep canyons and sandstone ridges, sculpted by wind and water into fanciful shapes.

Visit of Isalo national park
A whole day visit in the park through the canyons and oasis of Isalo would be our activities of today. During the hike, we will go to different places to see a panoramic view of the landscape. We will have several opportunities leading to the natural swimming pools and waterfalls. Then, another 4 km is necessary leading to the camping site. After lunch, extend your hike along the sheltered canyons reaching the ‘Piscine Blue and Noire’ called the cascade trails. Isalo is the home of the endemic bird called Benson’s Rock thrush, 14 species of nocturnal lemurs, 98 species of amphibians and reptiles. We will end our day contemplating the sunset over the famous window of Isalo.

Isalo – Ambalavao
We leave Ranohira and drive to Ambalavao, stop at Anja Park for two hours, Anja Park is the best place to see Ring-tailed lemurs where you easily find them in a group of 6 or 7 each place.
After the visit, continue to Ambalavao, while arriving in Ambalavao you will visit the paper factory at Bougainvillée.
Overnight at Tsihenimpary Lodge (midrange) or Betsileo Country Lodge (High – midrange) in BB.
Ambalavao – Ranomafana
We leave after breakfast reaching our today’s destination, and that is Ranomafana national park taking around 4 hour-drive. We first stop at Anja community reserve, home of the ring-tails. After the visit, we continue to Ranomafana passing by Fianarantsoa, the capital of the Betsileo tribe. In fact, Ranomafana spreads on 41,601 ha. It was classified World Natural Heritage of the Atsinanana in 2007. It shelters a big wealth of endemic biodiversity. Ranomafana national park is home of twenty mammals and 12 species of lemurs. The park is also the genetic reservoir of some rare and endemic plant species. It is browsed by many rivers.

Visit of Ranomafana national park
We devote the morning used to explore the park, a very dense forest with green lush vegetation, a mountainous area reaching 1300 m of altitude, possessing a great deal of flora and fauna unique in the world with wide varieties of orchids, carnivorous plants, harboring at least 12 species of lemurs including the golden bamboo, greater bamboo, Milne Edward’s sifaka. Also, there are 118 species of birds and 8 species of bats, as well as many rodents, reptiles, batrachians, spiders and butterflies. In the afternoon, you can relax in your hotel or spend the remaining time swimming in the hot thermal pool fed from the mouths of geysers or visit the village to closely interact with the locals in hope to learn and understand their cultures.

Ranomafana – Ambositra – Antsirabe
This morning, we depart to Antsirabe, with a stop in Ambositra. Ambositra is famous and the capital of wood carvings in Madagascar. We shall visit some workshops and then you can have some time for shopping and bring back souvenirs at a few craft shops. After lunch, we continue to Antsirabe.

Antsirabe – Tana
After breakfast you will visit the surrounding areas and in various workshops of semi and precious stones and the Tritriva lake. Then we drive heading to the capital, Antananarivo, passing by the high plateau’s mountainous and rice field landscape.

Tana – Andasibe
Morning depart to Andasibe, also known as Périnet, where tourists are expected to see and meet the biggest lemur known as the Indri (indri indri). Andasibe is a rainforest area covered of 810 hectares. Upon arrival, afternoon visit at the unavoidable VOI reserve, which is managed by the local community, the reserve is an untouched paradise for endemic animals and plants, where the visitors can easily spend a whole day enjoying nature, some groups of Indris can be watched in their natural habitat, and its white-headed relatives, the diademed sifakas, often jump between the tree tops. Some other lemurs such as woolly lemurs can also be seen. Overnight at the top Hotel: Mantadia Lodge or at Andasibe Cyperus (Top) in BB or in Mid-range Hotel: at the Feon’ny Ala or Grace Lodge in BB.
Visit of Analamazaotra reserve – Tana
After breakfast, we will explore the Analamazoatra reserve in search of the biggest lemurs called Indri indri, the panda like lemurs, whose eerie calls can be heard miles away from your hotel. Mild walk in the forest would surely grant you a great deal of windows of opportunity to spot not only the indri but also other lemurs such as the golden sifakas, the eastern woolly lemurs, without forgetting endemic birds and reptiles like the Parson chameleon, the tiny nose-horned chameleons, and so forth. After the visit, leave Andasibe and drive to Antananarivo overnight at Louvre Hotel or Palissandre (Top) ; Hotel Chalet de Roses or Chat’O Park (high-midrange), all offering bed and breakfast basis.
